Zolder

Het staat al een tijdje op de planning, de zolder opruimen en anders indelen. Er staan nu twee bureaus maar we werken er nauwelijks en al helemaal niet tegelijk! Eentje moet gaan dus. Ook wil ik graag een lees/loungehoek creeëren. Afgelopen zomer kocht ik een heel gave, strakke bedbank die nu nog noodgedwongen bij m'n ouders staat en natuurlijk gewoon op onze zolder moet komen. Genoeg te doen dus de komende tijd. En ook al hebben we niet zo'n grote zolder als op onderstaande plaatjes, ze zijn wel fijne inspiratie!

It's been on our to do-list for quite some time, cleaning up our attic and rearranging it. There are two desks now but we hardly work there, let alone together! So one desk has to go. I'd also like to create a reading/lounge area. Last summer I bought a very nice sleeper sofa which is 'parked' at my parents' but should come to our house as soon as possible. Lots of things to do the coming weeks. Although our attic isn't as big as the ones on the pictures below they are great inspiration!

Butterfly chair

Opeens weet ik 't, onze oude groene stoel - qua uiterlijk best ok maar zit eigenlijk niet meer goed - moet plaats maken voor een butterfly chair! Maar ja, welke dan? En nog belangrijker, zitten ze wel fijn?

 

Suddenly I know, our old green chair - which still looks good but isn't that comfortable to sit in anymore - should be replaced by a 'butterfly chair'! But there are so many to choose from! And are they ok to sit in?

UPDATE 19.15 uur
Nelleke schreef er vorige week hier al over, link with love. Ik ben het helemaal met haar eens, als je een foto op je blog plaatst vermeld dan de bron. Deze post had ik al een tijdje klaarstaan en ik wist niet meer dat de bron van het beeld niet op Pinterest vermeld stond... Dus daarom vandaag voor de eerste en laatste keer een foto zonder echte bronvermelding...

 

Last week Nelleke wrote about it here, link with love. I totally agree with her, if you use a picture always tell where you got it from. This blogpost was made some time ago and I didn't remember that the source of this image wasn't mentioned on Pinterest... That's why today, for both the first and last time, I posted a picture without credits...

Twins

t Was een experimentje, geïnspireerd door de bollen bij Dudok. Blijkt dat we een 'tweeling amaryllis' hebben... mooi!

 

It was an experiment, inspired by the bulbs I saw at Dudok. Now it appears we have 'amaryllis twins'... love them!

Eerlijk gezegd moet ik er nog een beetje aan wennen, koper als kleur in het interieur en voor accessoires. Maar dat wennen lukt heel aardig met dit mooie beeld op het blog van het inspirerende Zweedse tijdschrift Plaza Interiör.

To be honest I have to get used to the idea of copper as a colour for the interior and accessoires. I guess it'll grow on me, especially when I see this beautiful picture on the blog of the inspiring Swedish magazine Plaza Interiör.
