Wire lamp

Afgelopen zondag lunchte ik bij de Swarte Ruijter op de Holterberg. Een geweldig restaurant, niet alleen om het heerlijke eten maar ik geniet ook elke keer weer van de stoere inrichting. Afgelopen zondag spotte ik deze mooie, zwarte 'wire lamp'. Aan de voorkant van het gebouw zitten acht ramen en voor elk raam stond deze lamp, heel mooi!
Ook op internet spotte ik mooie 'wire lampen', hieronder een kleine selectie. Meer vind je op mijn Pinterest board 'lighting'.

Last Sunday I had lunch at 'de Swarte Ruijter' (a restaurant situated on the Holterberg, part of a Dutch National Park). It's a great restaurant, not only because of the delicious food but every time I go there I enjoy the way it's decorated as well. Last Sunday I spotted this beautiful, black 'wire lamp'. At the front of the building there are eight windows and each window has one of these lights, very nice!

Dip dye

Niet alleen een trend in de (haar)mode maar ook in het interieur, dip dye. Steeds vaker kom ik beeld tegen waarop veelal accessoires te zien zijn met vervaagde kleuren. Fris en lente-achtig!

It's not only a trend in (hair)fashion but also in interior design, dip dye. Lately I've come across lots of pictures in which especially accessories with faded colours are shown. Fresh and spring-like!

Pink Monday #7

Zolder

De afgelopen week hadden we voorjaarsvakantie. Eindelijk tijd om 'es wat te doen aan onze zolder. We waren dat al een tijd van plan maar steeds kwam 't er niet van met als gevolg dat de zolder aardig vol raakte. Eerlijk is eerlijk, echt leeg en opgeruimd is het er nog steeds niet maar we hebben een goed begin gemaakt. Ik kan eindelijk weer aan het bureau zitten werken en genieten van het uitzicht...

Last week we had spring break. Finally some time to start clearing up the attic. We had planned that for quite some a while but due to lack of time we didn't do anything and the attic became really stuffed. To be honest, it's not really empty and organized yet but we made a good start. I can work at my desk again and enjoy the view...

Instagram

Sinds ik een telefoon met camera heb maak ik ontzettend veel foto's. Natuurlijk veel thuis, voornamelijk van m'n kinderen, maar ook 'onderweg' schiet ik aardig wat plaatjes. Soms minder dan ik zou willen omdat ik niet overal durf te fotograferen (in winkels bijv. ...). Op m'n telefoon heb ik ook een paar fotobewerkingsapps waarvan Instagram absoluut favoriet is. Leuk om op een eenvoudige manier je foto's te bewerken! Het leuke van Instagram vind ik dat je ook mee kunt genieten van de foto's die anderen maken en daar inspiratie uit op kunt doen. Veel bloggers hebben ook een Instagram account, een mooie aanvulling op hun blog.

Since I've had a phone with camera I take many photos. Of course a lot at home, most of the time of my children, but also when I'm 'on the go' I take quite a lot of pictures. Sometimes less than I would like to because I'm a bit scared to take pictures in shops for example... I also have a few photo editing apps on my phone of which Instagram is my favourite. I really like to edit my pictures in such a simple way! Another aspect of Instagram that I like is the fact that you can enjoy other people's pictures as well and find inspiration in those pictures. Many bloggers also have an Instagram account, a nice addition to their blogs.
