[p]inspired #3

Met het koude en natte herfstweer van de afgelopen dagen zit ik graag binnen, het liefst met een stapel tijdschriften en een kop thee. Het plaatje zou nog completer zijn met een knapperend (haard)vuurtje erbij maar met een actief, rondrennend meisje van twee doen we onze houtkachel maar niet aan. When it's cold and rainy autumn weather, like last weekend, I love to be indoors drinking tea and reading magazines. This would even better when there's a fire burning in the fireplace but with an active, running around two-year-old we don't use our woodburner. That's why I post a few nice fireplace pictures. Deze week...

werd ik erg blij van mijn nieuwe ketting die ik bestelde bij Sonja van bySoos.

werd ik verliefd op een mooie, oude VW pickup die als 'decoratie' in de plaatselijke Intratuin stond.

genoten we tussen de buien door van de herfstzon!

ontdekte ik een nieuw Brits tijdschrift waarover later meer...

This week...

I was very happy when my new necklace arrived, which I ordered from Sonja (bySoos).

I fell in love with a beautiful, old VW pick-up which was part of the decoration in our local garden center.

we enjoyed the autumn sun in between showers!

I discovered a new British magazine about which I am going to write more in one of my next posts...

heb ik drie nieuwe recepten uit de Allerhande geprobeerd (ham-prei gratin, aardappelcurry met kip en bloemkool & veggie sheperd's pie)

kocht ik met het kleine meisje een boek omdat het Kinderboekenweek is!

startte ik met Holly Beckers BYW Bootcamp

keek ik naar de halve finale van The Great British Bake Off (dat betekent dat de aflevering van volgende week de laatste van deze serie is... )

This week

I enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather, the colours of autumn and mushrooms in different shapes and sizes...

I tried three recipes from Allerhande, the free magazine of Albert Heijn ,one of the leading supermarket chains in The Netherlands  (ham and leek gratin, potato curry with chicken and cauliflower & veggie sheperd's pie)

I bought a book with my little girl because of 'Kinderboekenweek' (an annual event in The Netherlands in which children's books are celebrated , all kinds of activities related to children's books and reading are being organised by libraries, schools and bookshops)

I started with Holly Becker's BYW Bootcamp

I watched the semi-finals of The Great British Bake Off (which means next week's episode is the last in this series... )

I ♡ autumn!

Wat een zonnige herfstdag vandaag! Ik ben dol op de herfst, komt vast omdat ik in dit seizoen geboren ben...

Today it's a sunny autumn day! I'm really fond of autumn probably because I was born in this season...
