Instagram #3

De afgelopen maand deed ik mee aan de fotochallenge van Flow zoals je wellicht hier hebt gelezen. Ik vond het erg leuk om elke dag een foto te maken van een detail uit ons huis. Het fenomeen van dagelijks een foto maken van een bepaald onderwerp en die foto vervolgens delen op bijv. Instagram kom je steeds vaker tegen. Voor de iPhone heb je een leuke app, Room for thoughts, die je elke dag op willekeurige momenten vraagt direct een foto te maken. Zo leuk maar helaas niet verkrijgbaar voor mijn Android telefoon...
De Australische Chantelle van de blog Fat Mum Slim maakt voor elke maand een lijst met 'prompts' om dagelijks een foto te nemen. Je mag de 'prompt' interpreteren zoals je zelf wilt en dat resulteert in heel verschillende foto's van de deelnemers. Deze maand doe ik mee aan Chantelle's Photo A Day. Je kunt mijn foto's hier zien! Om de foto's van andere deelnemers te zien gebruik je #FMSphotoaday om in Instagram te zoeken.

Last month I participated in Flow Magazine's photo challenge about which I wrote here. I really liked taking a picture of a detail from our house every day. There are more and more photo challenges which invite people to take pictures of a certain subject and share them on e.g. Instragram. Room for Thoughts is a nice iPhone app which asks you to take a daily picture at random moments. Unfortunateley this app isn't available for my Android phone...
The Australian Chantelle of Fat Mum Slim features a monthly photo challenge on her blog. Every month she makes a list with daily 'prompts'. It's up to you how you interpret the prompt which results in lots of different photos. This month I take part in Chantelle's Photo A Day challenge. You can see my pictures here! Een nieuwe rubriek op Hallo September: [bl]inspired! In navolging van [p]inspired, de posts waarin ik inspiratie deel die ik via Pinterest krijg, nu [bl]inspired met mooie, inspirerende (woon)blogs.

Fru fly is de blog van de Noorse Heidi Flesland. Sinds een paar jaar blogt Heidi fulltime en op haar blog laat ze je meegenieten van haar prachtige huis. Daarnaast deelt ze creatieve ideeën bijvoorbeeld voor het maken van mooie accessoires. In haar webshop verkoopt ze posters met verschillende teksten. Inspiratie genoeg dus!

[bl]inspired is a new feature on my blog! After [p]inspired, the posts in which I share inspiration I get via Pinterest, I now share nice, inspirational (interior design) blogs with you in posts tagged [bl]inspired.

Fru fly is the blog of Norwegian Heidi Flesland. Heidi has been blogging fulltime for a couple of years now and on her blog you can see pictures of her beautiful house. She also shares creative ideas for example to make nice accessories. Heidi also has a webshop in which she sells a variety of prints. Lots of inspiration!

Dreaming of... a farm!

Wat zou het gaaf zijn, wonen op een verbouwde boerderij! Buitenaf, veel ruimte en licht, genoeg speelgelegenheid voor de kinderen... Wij wonen in de Achterhoek en in onze omgeving vind je veel prachtig verbouwde boerderijen. Wie weet, ooit... Tot die tijd geniet ik van mooie foto's, zoals deze - toevallig in Nederland! - die ik via Pinterest vond. Meer foto's vind je hier.

It would be great to live on a renovated farm! In the countryside, lots of space and light, enough opportunity to play for the kids... We live in 'de Achterhoek' (a region in the eastern part of the Netherlands) and here you find many beautiful renovated farms. So maybe, who knows, in the future... Until then I keep drooling over beautiful pictures, like these - in the Netherlands! - which I found via Pinterest. You can find more photos here.

Ladders

Al een tijdje zie je ze veel voorbij komen, ladders. Afgelopen week zag ik een mooie metalen bij Meijer&Floor in Arnhem. Ook op Pinterest kwam ik fraaie exemplaren tegen... Bij mij in huis vind je er geen. Helaas niet echt plaats voor en met een rondrennend peutermeisje is een ladder ook niet echt handig ;)

They've been around for a while, ladders. Last week I saw a very nice metal one at Meijer&Floor in Arnhem. On Pinterest I came across beautiful ladders as well... There are no ladders in my house. Unfortunately we don't really have space for it and with a toddler girl who loves to run around a ladder isn't really an option ;)

Bloggers in Arnhem! #2

De winkel waar ik afgelopen zaterdag de meeste foto's heb gemaakt is Arnhem Coming Soon. Ook deze winkel was nieuw voor mij maar ik weet zeker dat ik 'em in het vervolg niet oversla. In Arnhem Coming Soon vind je een mooie collectie van accessoires, kleding en kunstobjecten van zowel gevestigde als nieuwe labels. Arnhem Coming Soon werkt samen met Artez hogeschool voor de Kunsten en biedt jonge ontwerpers de gelegenheid om hun werk in de winkel tentoon te stellen of te verkopen.

Last Saturday I took many pictures in Arnhem Coming Soon. I hadn't visited this shop before either but I'll make sure to visit Arnhem Coming Soon whenever I go to Arnhem. In this shop you find a beautiful collection of accessories, fashion and art of both established and new designers. Arnhem Coming Soon cooperates with Artez Institute of the Arts by giving young designers the opportunity to show and sell their work.
